Bonds
Cargo imported to the U.S. and valued at over $2,500 requires a customs bond as U.S. Customs oftentimes releases cargo to importers before the customs clearance process is complete. The bonds in effect act as an insurance policy should an importer default on any duty or penalties demanded by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). There are a variety of regular and specialized bonds to choose from to meet your custom bonds requirements. As your brokers, we will identify which bonds are most appropriate for your needs.
